  1. Wow, Jay… they’re coming hot & heavy. That show went quick, although it seemed like that first song went on for a while. All was good. My fave might have been The O12. It kept growing on me. As usual, I’ve heard none of these before.

As for Lauren Tewes, she’s the gal from the Love Boat. A nobody in the stellar cast of Gavin McLoad, Bernie Koppel, Fred Grandy and Ted Lange. She had some issues and was kicked off the show, teplaced by some kid, but I had stopped watching by then. I only see those kid episodes in reruns.

I liked the Love Boat. I loved seeing the old Actors & Actresses, as even still a Teen, I watched many old movies. The jokes were all groaned, but they were jokes. And I grew up on Abbot & Costello, so sophistication wasnt my thing. I didn’t go out much as a Teen, as I moved from my Mom’s apartment to my Sister’s apartment at age 15, so I left the old gang and I helped watch Sis’s kids. I knew nothing of music in the 70’s. I didn’t discover anything music related until College circa 1980 when i was 19. I’m still discovering.

If I’m a winner you can play something from The Bunnybrains, or something from that Siltbreeze Tard & Furthered CD.

The Bunnybrains were all over the place, but a show they did at Tramps on 21st St in NYC circa 2000 was one of the best shows I ever saw. They opened for The Lunachicks, which was more of a fashion show I didn’t stay long for. I hardly went to shows in the 90’s as my daughter was born in 1991, joining her older brother, so I went to work then came home. I started going out again after that. I saw The Headcoats at Tramps.

I’ll be investigating all of the bands. That French gal in episode 1 was cool. AndvThe O12.

  2. You ARE the winner. Congratulations! Everyone loved Julie from the Love Boat, until she went off to deal with her cocaine addiction. What name should I use when I play your song next time?
