DON HOWLAND, later of the Gibson Bros, had a great column in TAKE IT! fanzine called “Real Bad”. This one’s from a 1983 issue and contains a classic “Low 11” list of that era’s easy-rock favorites.

Fanzine ad for ADULT CONTEMPORARY Records, scanned from Forced Exposure #11 in 1987. None of the promised “forthcoming” records – Laughing Hyenas, Drunks With Guns, Terveet Kadet (!) – never came out, at least not on Adult Contemporary, which pretty much folded up shop right around this time.

- This 12/31/12 Dynamite Hemorrhage post about Superdope #6 has download links to Superdopes #1-#5 too, or shall we say, had. Clicking through leads to one of those repossessed word association sites. It’s not like Jay to skip out on his former hedonistjive.com domain bill, so what gives?
